Bio

Hi, I'm Lizzy Allen, and here’s a bit about me. I am an Illustrator as well as a collegiate tennis Athlete. I am a current Illustration student at SCAD ATL with a concentration in Concept design for Animation and Video Games. I was raised in Florida and currently live in Charleston SC. I am proficient in photoshop and clip studio as well as constantly learning new tools. I have worked on Senior animation films as well as zines with many collaborators.

Artist statement

I love art and I have for my whole life. I don’t remember a time where I wasn't drawing or creating something. I never really latched on to a particular style until recently and that reflects in my portfolio. The style I have leaned toward is American comic style with Japanese influence. I have been a fan of anime for most of my life so it has a big influence on my style. I use heavy lineart while also rendering my work. Being able to balance the line between painting and comics. I don't have a particular intention to who my audience is but I would lean to think it would be directed to young adults and teens.
